AAIA - Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indian Scholarships

The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) offers Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indians Scholarships in amounts between $500-$800.  Applicants must be full time students and determination is based on merit and need.  Disbursement is made during the first semester.  Scholarships are renewable up to four years towards any single degree.  Each year $100 is added to the scholarship amount to a maximum of $800.  New contact information and financial analysis information is required each year in addition to a copy of the previous years' grades and class schedules.

AAIA - Displaced Homemaker Scholarships

The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) offers Displaced Homemaker Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each, to those men and women who would not otherwise be able to complete their educational goals due to family responsibilities.  Funds may be used to assist with child care, transportation and basic living expenses, etc. in addition to educational costs.  Disbursement is made during the first semester.  Applicants must be full time students.  This scholarship does not automatically renew.  Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis.

AAIA – Elizabeth and Sherman Asche Memorial Graduate and Undergraduate Scholarship

These scholarships are open to all American Indian and Alaskan Native (at least 1/4) graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a Major in Public Health. Disbursement is made in the amount of $1,500 per semester, with subsequent disbursements requiring a copy of the first semesters' grades and a second semester class schedule. This scholarship does not automatically renew. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis.

The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) offers Emergency Aid Scholarships to full time American Indian and Alaskan Native students in amounts ranging from $100-$400.  Emergency Aid is available during both fall and spring semesters.  Students may receive one scholarship per academic year.  There is no deadline for application.  Scholarship disbursement is based on availability of funds.  Applicants must have a true emergency.  Outstanding tuition is not considered an emergency.

AAMN Foundation Scholarships for Men

The American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation and the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future have partnered to offer this $1,000 scholarship program for male students pursuing professional nursing education programs. Established in 2004, these scholarships are intended to support male students who are seeking a pre-RN licensure or graduate degree in nursing.
