Edwina Foye Award for Outstanding Graduate Student
The Edwina Foye scholarship was established in 1985 by
colleagues, friends, and family to honor the memory of Edwina Foye,
RN, a nurse who dedicated twenty-five years of service to
Portsmouth Hospital (1952-1978). This scholarship is awarded
at the Foundation's Annual Meeting in April to a graduate student
who is a resident in one of the nine towns in the Foundation area
in New Hampshire and Maine. The individual selected for this
award must be pursuing a career in health and demonstrate
outstanding academic achievement and personal accomplishments.

Eight & Forty Lung and Respiratory Disease Nursing Scholarship Fund
Established to assist Registered Nurses with advanced preparation for positions in supervision, administration, or teaching, this scholarship is given to students who have prospects, upon completion of their education, of being employed in specific positions that have a full-time and direct relationship to lung and respiratory control, working in hospitals, clinics, or health departments.

This scholarship was established in 2002 in memory of Eleanor Duncan by Conway Regional Health System oncology nurses to assist a Conway Regional Health System employee, or family member of an employee, with preference given to those pursuing a career in oncology nursing.

Organized in 1883, the Danish Sisterhood looks to strengthen,

The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency health services available to the public through education and research. These two scholarships are awarded to emergency nurses (RN, LPN or LVN) pursuing advanced clinical practice degrees to become a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist. ENA Foundation Faculty Memorial Doctoral Scholarship
Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and research
opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation
in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency
health services available to the public through education and
research. This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN)
pursuing a doctoral degree. This doctoral scholarship is
being offered with the intent of assisting its recipient to prepare
for a career as a faculty member at a college of nursing.
Applicants who are more than six months beyond the completion of
all formal coursework and comprehensive examinations, (if
applicable), are not eligible to apply. This scholarship is
intended to address some of the nursing shortage issues that result
from the lack of availability of nursing faculty.

ENA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships
Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and research opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency health services available to the public through education and research. Eugene B. Casey Endowment for Nursing Scholarships
Suburban Hospital is a not-for-profit, community-owned hospital in Bethesda, Maryland that has served Montgomery County for more than 60 years. The Suburban Hospital Foundation was created in 1996 to serve as the fund-raising arm of the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System. This recently created endowment provides annual support for the undergraduate and advanced education of nurses. In return, newly graduated "Casey Scholars" will agree to work at Suburban Hospital Healthcare System, providing the hospital and its patients a much-needed supply of new caregivers.

Each facility of the Good Samaritan Society in Minnesota has
funding which is dedicated specifically for scholarships. The
