The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) was created in 1969 to honor Frances Tompkins, the Association's first Executive Director. Organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, the Foundation awards scholarships to qualified nursing students. Franklin D. Boyce Scholarship

The Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship Program was established in August 1996 in recognition of the long years of service provided by Mr. Boyce as CEO of John Randolph Medical Center, and as the first CEO of John Randolph Foundation. The scholarship program is available to residents of the City of Hopewell, Virginia and the following nearby localities: Prince George, Colonial Heights, Petersburg, Emporia, Fort Lee, Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry, Chesterfield (South of Rt. 288 and East of Ironbridge Road), Charles City and Varina (Southeast Henrico, south of I-64). It is renewable for up to three years.

Franks Foundation Scholarship

OSAC administers a variety of State of Oregon, Federal, and privately funded student financial aid programs for the benefit of Oregonians attending institutions of postsecondary education. Marin Education Fund offers various programs designed to provide financial assistance to low-to-moderate income people of Marin County in Northern California.  Individuals are selected for demonstrating financial need, a desire for higher learning, and the perseverance to accomplish their educational and training goals.  This scholarship is open to anyone demonstrating financial need who is enrolled in one of the following Bay Area public universities: California State University, Hayward; San Francisco State University; San Jose State University; Sonoma State University; or University of California, Berkeley.  Students should be planning to pursue advanced education in social or human services or in health-related fields (including nursing).  Applicant must be an upper division student who has attended the school for one academic year or more.

Good Samaritan Foundation Nursing Scholarships

Eligibility for Scholarships: To be eligible for financial assistance from the Good Samaritan Foundation, the student must meet the following requirements:

The student must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program at a Texas school and be pursuing one of the following degrees:

LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse
Diploma - Diploma Certificate
ADN - Associate Degree in Nursing
BSN - Bachelor of Science in Nursing
MSN - Masters of Science in Nursing
PhD - Doctor of Philosophy (Nursing Concentration)
DSN - Doctor of Science in Nursing
DNP - Doctor of Nursing Practice/p>

Note: The Good Samaritan Foundation pays only for clinical nursing semesters, not prerequisites; however, a student may start the application process before entering clinicals.

The student must be a Texas resident and plan to work as a nurse in Texas after graduation.

The student must be eligible to work in the United States.

The student must demonstrate financial need.
