Hobble (LPN) Nursing Scholarship
This is an outright grant (payable one time) at the start of the
first semester, awarded only upon acceptance and verification of
enrollment by the scholarship winner in an accredited Kansas school
which awards a diploma for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN). The
applicant must have attained the age of 18 prior to taking the
Kansas State Board Examination. The scholarship will be awarded to
an individual who is both qualified and in need of financial
aid.

HRSA Bureau of Health Faculty Loan Repayment Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Service is pleased to announce that it is seeking applicants for the 2009 Faculty Loan Repayment Program.
The Faculty Loan Repayment Program provides a financial incentive for degree-trained health professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue academic careers.
Individuals selected agree to serve on the faculty of an accredited health professions college or university for a minimum of two years.
In return, the Federal government agrees to pay, for each year of faculty service, up to $20,000 of the outstanding principal and interest on the participant's educational loans.

HRSA Bureau of Health Professions Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program
Open to U.S. citizens and nationals enrolled or accepted for
enrollment in a professional program as a full- or part-time
student in an accredited school of nursing, this program offers
recipients tuition, fees, supplies, and a monthly stipend in

HRSA National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program
The purpose of this program is to ensure an adequate supply of
health professionals to provide primary health services to
populations located in health professional shortage areas.
The program recruits Family Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, or
students in those fields, as well as health professionals in
several other specific medical professions who agree to provide
primary health services in approved NHSC community sites. In
return, the NHSC LRP assists clinicians in their repayment of
qualifying educational loans.

This scholarship is funded to ensure an adequate supply of health professionals to provide primary health services to populations located in health professional shortage areas. Scholarships are open to Family Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, or students in those fields, as well as health professionals in several other specific medical professions. The scholarship covers the payment of tuition and required fees to the school (on behalf of the student), the payment of a monthly stipend for living expenses, and an annual payment for books, equipment, and supplies. Illinois AMVETS Sad Sacks Nursing Scholarship
The Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation has been awarding
scholarships to Illinois high school seniors for approximately 40
years. Applicants for this award must be Illinois high school
seniors who have been accepted in a pre-approved nursing program or
current students in an approved school of nursing in the state of
Illinois. Applicants must prove satisfactory academic record,
character, interest and activity record, and financial need.
Priority will be given to the dependant of a deceased or disabled
Veteran. The Scholarship will be given to a student

Since 1997, the Indiana Health Care Foundation has sought to assist the long-term care industry find and educate quality staff.
