James S. Garrison, MD Scholarship
Each spring, the Conway Regional Health System Foundation awards scholarships to area students who are currently enrolled, or beginning their education, in a health related career field. Awards may be used for tuition, books, and room and board expenses. These two (2) scholarships were established to pay tribute to Dr. James S. Garrison and his 24 years of service and dedication to health care in the central Arkansas area. Garrison scholarships are considered loans because recipients are required to fulfill one year of service to Conway Regional upon graduation. If a recipient is unable to fulfill the required one-year of service, the loan will be repaid at the time of departure. The amount will be prorated according to time of service.

Jane L. Watson Nursing Scholarship

Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program (LARP)
This program provides educational loan repayment assistance to individuals providing public service in state or local government or the nonprofit sector in Maryland to low income or underserved residents. Applicants must be residents of Maryland and have received an undergraduate, graduate or professional degree from a college or university in Maryland. Applicant's gross salary cannot exceed $60,000 or, if married, combined salaries cannot exceed $130,000. Applicants must be employed full-time (35 hours or more per week) at a state/local government or nonprofit organization in Maryland. Applicants must have loans that were obtained for educational expenses that are not in default. This is a service-based program. A formula is used to determine the amount of each award. This formula is based on awardee's total student loan debt and expected contribution.

Janice and John Robbins Scholarship
Each spring, the Conway Regional Health System Foundation awards scholarships to area students who are currently enrolled, or beginning their education, in a health related career field. Awards may be used for tuition, books, and room and board expenses. This scholarship was established in 2007 by the Conway Regional Women's Council to honor John Robbins and his wife, Janice, upon his retirement as Conway Regional's President and CEO. The Women's Council was established in 2001 and has grown into a dynamic group of more than 150 women working to improve women's health in the community and raise funds for Conway Regional. It is hoped this scholarship will honor the Robbins' vision and their unwavering commitment to education by helping a student seeking to further his or her education in a medical field so he or she can serve patients at Conway Regional in the future.

Jeanette and Leon Travis Scholarship for Nursing at St. Thomas Hospital
Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing offers a number of full and partial internal scholarships. Full-time enrollment (12 hours per semester) is required to be considered for a scholarship award. Consideration for full scholarships and the amount of partial scholarship awards are based upon an individual's GPA and GRE, GMAT or other standardized test score. opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation
in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance
