George William Peak Nursing Scholarship Fund
The Sinclair School of Nursing at University of Missouri offers a number of nursing-specific scholarships undergraduate clinical nursing majors and graduate students. A call for applications and announcement of awards is made each year during the spring semester for the following academic year. Individuals are selected for demonstrating financial need, a desire for higher learning, and the perseverance to accomplish their educational and training goals. Eligibility for Scholarships: To be eligible for financial assistance from the Good Samaritan Foundation, the student must meet the following requirements:
The student must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program at a Texas school and be pursuing one of the following degrees:

Note: The Good Samaritan Foundation pays only for clinical nursing semesters, not prerequisites; however, a student may start the application process before entering clinicals.
The student must be a Texas resident and plan to work as a nurse in Texas after graduation.
The student must be eligible to work in the United States.
