Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society Nursing Scholarship Fund
The Hawaii Community Foundation is a public, statewide, charitable services and grantmaking organization by donor contributions for the benefit of Hawaii’s people. The Foundation has distributed scholarships to more than 2,300 students totaling more than $4.7 million.
Applicants to this scholarship must have been accepted into a nursing program at a two- or four-year college or university in Hawai'i.
Applicants must be pursuing an RN or LPN degree with an interest in geriatric nursing

HCAid Scholarship
HCA Central Atlantic Division awards scholarships to select applicants recently accepted or currently enrolled in a fully accredited Associate Degree Program. Applicants must be enrolled full time. Awards are based on merit and on the applicant's written essay on his/her professional and educational goals. Scholarship recipients agree to employment at the sponsoring HCA-affiliated hospital for a period of no less than three years. Employees of HCA or its affiliates are not eligible.

Since 1990, the Health Careers Foundation has helped more than 4,500 students realize their dream of becoming a healthcare professional. HCF's focus is on adults entering the work force or changing careers to better provide for their families and communities. The organization provides low-interest loans as well as scholarships to chosen applicants pursing careers in various health related fields.

Health Professions Education Foundation Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program
The purpose of the Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program is to increase the number of appropriately trained allied healthcare professionals, and to encourage their practice in direct patient care in medically underserved areas of California. Priority is given to students enrolled in the fields of medical imaging, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory care, social work, pharmacy, pharmacy technician, medical laboratory technologist, surgical technician, ultrasound technician, and diagnostic medical sonography. Recipients would have a service obligation of 1 year or 100-150 hours volunteer service. This program is funded by a contribution from Kaiser Permanente.

The purpose of this program is to increase the number of appropriately trained health professional and to encourage their practice in direct patient care in medically underserved areas of California. Scholarships are awarded to students who are enrolled or accepted into Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Physician Assistant, and Clinical Nurse Specialist programs in California. Recipients commit to work full-time or 32 hours per week after graduating with a degree a two-year service obligation practicing direct patient care in a medically underserved area in California.

The company offers a student loan that is tied to a commitment to work with HealthSouth upon graduation. Monetary amounts range from up to $10,000 for RNs and $5000 for LPNs.
