Kaiser Permanente Deloras Jones RN Nursing as a Second Career Scholarship
Kaiser Permanente is committed to developing California’s future healthcare workforce, and to providing career mobility for our employees. To that end, the Kaiser Permanente Student Financial Aid Program (SFAP) provides a variety of student loans and scholarships to eligible students within Kaiser Permanente and the community at large. Kaiser Permanente offers this need-based scholarship to students entering the field of nursing as a second career. Applicants must have completed at least one quarter or one semester of nursing program coursework at a nursing program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and have an Adjusted Gross income of less than $50,000 per family member.

Kaiser Permanente offers this need-based scholarship to registered nurses pursuing an MSN, DNSc, or PhD in nursing at a nursing program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and who have an Adjusted Gross income of less than $50,000 per family member.

To that end, the Kaiser Permanente Student Financial Aid Program (SFAP) provides a variety of student loans and scholarships to eligible students within Kaiser Permanente and the community at large. Kaiser Permanente offers this need-based scholarship to students representing ethnic and gender groups that are underrepresented in California’s nursing workforce (Male, African-American, Hispanic, Native American, or Asian/Pacific Islander). Applicants must have completed at least one quarter or one semester of nursing program coursework at a nursing program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and have an Adjusted Gross income of less than $50,000 per family member.

Kamryn Lambert Memorial Scholarship
The Kamryn Lambert Foundation was created in memory of Kamryn Lambert who was so close to the nursing staff at the University Maryland Hospital for Children, that she wanted to grow up to become a nurse. When she passed away in 2007, just short of her ninth birthday, after complications after battling leukemia, her family dedicated to provide an annual nursing scholarship to a graduating high school senior.
Applicants must be residents of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In 2011, the Foundation will expand its giving to include an "at large" scholarship winner from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard Counties.
Applications may be found at the Foundation's website and returned to the student's high school guidance counselor.

Kansas Nurses Foundation Scholarship Awards
The purpose of the Kansas Nurses Foundation is to receive and manage funds derived from memorials, gifts, and contributions and to apply the income thereof to support charitable nursing education and scientific activities through grants, loans, or scholarships to individuals, organizations, and institutions engaged in nursing education or research.
With roughly fifteen scholarships and research grants available each year, ranging from $300 to $1000 each, the Kansas Nurses Foundation provides numerous opportunities to Kansas residents preparing for a career in nursing.

Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship Program
This scholarship is designed to encourage enrollment in nursing
programs by Kansans committed to practicing in Kansas.
Recipients must sign agreements to practice as an LPN or RN at
specific facilities one year for each year of scholarship
support. Applicant must locate a sponsor (generally a
hospital or long-term care facility) to provide partial scholarship
funding and provide employment upon licensure of the recipient.

The Kansas State Nurses Association (KSNA) is the largest and oldest professional nursing organization in the state of Kansas. The primary purpose of the KSNA is to provide direction and a voice for the profession of nursing and nurses as leaders in healthcare.
Students applying for the Dorothy Astle Nursing Scholarship must either be enrolled in a basic undergraduate nursing program or be registered nurses completing their BSN. Preference is given to full-time students
Applicants must reside in 1 or the following counties in Kansas: Barton, Edwards, Kingman, Pawnee, Reno, Rice, Rush, or Stafford.

Karen O’Neill Endowed Advanced Nursing Practice Scholarship (ENA)
Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and research
opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation
in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency
health services available to the public through education and
research. This scholarship supports an emergency nurse (RN, LPN or
LVN) pursuing an advanced degree. It was established in memory of
Karen M. O'Neil, who was a recipient of an ENA Foundation
Scholarship herself. Karen was a unique individual whose
involvement and dedication to her profession touched her patients,
colleagues, and her community. Karen, her family, and her friends
have provided this opportunity as a way to remember her tireless
energy and uplifting spirit, and commitment to emergency
nursing.

Katherine Pope Scholarship
With a nursing career spanning 45 years, Katherine Pope, RN, dedicated her life to the profession of nursing. She has been described as "the ideal nurse: a selfless, genuine caregiver who puts the needs of others ahead of herself "
Ms. Pope believed that nursing enabled her to best serve her country, her fellow human beings and the community. The Katherine Pope Scholarship demonstrates the impact nursing can make to health care and to the community and extends Ms. Pope's commitment to the career advancement of nurses.
A nursing leader, beloved friend and respected colleague, Katherine Pope has always encouraged others to be their best. This scholarship in her name acknowledges future nursing leaders who are committed to excellence in their field and to the care of those in need.
All applicants must be residents of Georgia currently enrolled in an accredited program in nursing and show financial need.
Priority will be given to students enrolled in a Georgia school, college or university who plan to practice professional nursing in Georgia following graduation

Kathleen Suzanne Nelson Scholarship Fund
Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing offers a number of full and partial internal scholarships. Full-time enrollment (12 hours per semester) is required to be considered for a scholarship award. Consideration for full scholarships and the amount of partial scholarship awards are based upon an individual's GPA and GRE, GMAT or other standardized test score. All awards are made through the School of Nursing Scholarship Committee according to the requirements of the funding source. This award was endowed through a bequest from Dr. Robert A. Nelson, Jr., in memory of his daughter, a 1975 MSN graduate of the School.
