OnlineColleges.org's mission is to help students accomplish their career and education goals by providing information about the top accredited public and private colleges and universities in the United States. This scholarship is awarded to a single parent who is enrolled in an accredited online post-secondary institution. The scholarship will help pay for non-tuition related living expenses for one academic year that are not covered by the recipient’s current financial aid such as: Rent, Childcare, Books and School Supplies, Gas/Electric bills, Internet Connection, Groceries Please note that the funds will not be sent to the recipient student; rather, Education Aid, Inc. will pay for the expenses directly. The student will be required to provide relevant supporting documentation necessary to validate any expenses being paid for on their behalf. ONS Foundation – Josh Gottheil Memorial Bone Marrow Transplant Career Development Awards

Supported by the Josh Gottheil Memorial Fund for Lymphoma Research, which was established by Dr. and Mrs. Gottheil in memory of their son, Josh, who died of lymphoma in 1991, these four awards reward selected RNs for meritorious practice in bone marrow transplant nursing by providing financial assistance to attend a continuing-education program(s) that will further his or her professional goals or to supplement tuition in a bachelor's or master's program. The candidate currently must be employed as an RN working in BMT with a minimum 75% of his or her time devoted to patient care or in the position of nurse manager, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, or BMT coordinator and must have two or more years in BMT nursing practice. An individual cannot receive this award more than one time.

This scholarship was established to improve oncology nursing by assisting RNs in furthering their education. The candidate must demonstrate an interest in and commitment to oncology nursing and must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing degree program in a school of nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The candidate must have a current license to practice as an RN. At the end of each year of scholarship participation, the nurse must submit a summary describing the educational activities in which he or she participated.

ONS Foundation Master’s and Post-Master’s Certificate Scholarship

This scholarship was established to improve oncology nursing by assisting nurses in furthering their education. The candidate must be currently enrolled in (or applying to) a master's nursing degree or post-master's certificate (CNS or NP) program at an academic credit-bearing program in a school of nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The program must have application to oncology nursing. The candidate must have a previous master's degree in nursing, a current license to practice as an RN, and a demonstrated interest in and commitment to oncology nursing. At the end of each year of scholarship participation, the nurse must submit a summary describing the educational activities in which he or she participated. An individual can receive both the master's scholarship and post-master's certificate scholarship if they are two separate programs. Individuals can only receive the scholarship one time for each degree/certificate.
