Supreme Scholarship Program
The Military Order of the Cootie is an auxiliary order of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Only active members
of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States are eligible
for membership in the Military Order of the Cootie. The objective
of the organization is to keep alive the sprit of optimism and
humor characteristic of the American service man. This award is
given to a relative of VFW or VFW auxiliary who is studying to be a
nurse, pharmacist, dental assistant, x-ray tech., lab tech.,
operating room tech., or dietician.

Tafford Uniforms Scholarship Program
The Tafford Uniforms Scholarship program provides scholarships to nursing students enrolled in one of the following accredited programs: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Associate Degree in Nursing. Two scholarships are distributed each academic semester for both the spring and fall semesters. Scholarship applicants will also receive 10% off their next nursing uniform order with Tafford.

Touchmark Foundation Nursing Scholarship
The Touchmark Foundation's nursing scholarship program focuses on nursing students at all levels, with a particular interest in students pursuing advanced degrees in order to teach and students intending to work with seniors. Students must be accepted into or enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form, personal essay, professional/personal recommendations, and financial need assessment. Tuition Waiver for Foster Care Recipients
This award is open to certain student under the age of 21 who have resided in a foster care home in the state of Maryland. Applicants must have resided in a foster care home in Maryland at the time he/shoe graduated from high school or successfully completed a general equivalency development examination (GED); or must have resided in a Maryland foster care home on his/her 14th birthday and were then adopted after his/her 14th birthday. Applicants must enroll as degree-seeking students at a public two-year or four-year higher education institution in Maryland on or before age 21.
