ANNA – Janel Parker Career Mobility Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to one qualified ANNA member in the pursuit of either BSN or advanced degrees in nursing that will enhance their nephrology nursing practice. Since 1991, the AORN Foundation, through the AORN Scholarship Committee, has awarded funding for nursing scholarships. In 2001, a new category of scholarship was established to award funding to nursing students who are enrolled in educational programs leading to initial licensure as registered nurse. Archbold Scholarship Program

Archbold Medical Center, Archbold Memorial Hospital, and its affiliates offer individual scholarships to students taking health-related, college-level courses. Scholarship support is also available for those taking technical school courses which lead to registration or certification in healthcare fields or pursuing professional degrees in health-related majors. The scholarship is open to residents of South Georgia and North Florida. Applicants must be students within two years of completing course work and must provide a letter of acceptance from an accredited college or technical school. Applicants must agree to work at Archbold Medical Center following graduation. The work commitment is one to three years.
