Betty Crim Endowed Nursing Scholarship

The Sinclair School of Nursing at University of Missouri offers a number of nursing-specific scholarships undergraduate clinical nursing majors and graduate students. A call for applications and announcement of awards is made each year during the spring semester for the following academic year. This scholarship is open to full‐time undergraduate nursing students who need financial assistance, who have completed or who are completing their first clinical nursing course and who meet the scholastic qualifications of the School. Preference is given to first generation college attendees. Award amount varies.

C. W. Kempkau Scholarship

Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing offers a number of full and partial internal scholarships. Full-time enrollment (12 hours per semester) is required to be considered for a scholarship award. Consideration for full scholarships and the amount of partial scholarship awards are based upon an individual's GPA and GRE, GMAT or other standardized test score. All awards are made through the School of Nursing Scholarship Committee according to the requirements of the funding source. This scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding pre-specialty student in the incoming class. Award amount varies.

C.R. Bard Foundation, Inc. Nursing Scholarship

Recognizing the growing need for highly qualified nurses, the C.R. Bard Foundation has established an annual nursing scholarship program.  The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize outstanding nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, and extracurricular activities and who are planning careers in the health industry. The award will recognize financial need.  Awards are available to eligible nursing students attending an Independent College Fund of New Jersey (ICFNJ) member institution which offers a nursing program.  Those institutions include: Bloomfield College, College of Saint Elizabeth, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Felician College, Monmouth University, Saint Peter’s College, and Seton Hall University.

CampusRN Scholarship Fund

CampusRN is launching a new scholarship program in conjunction with the creation of the CampusRN state edition network. This nationwide scholarship program is the most comprehensive of its kind for nursing programs and nursing students because it features scholarship winners from every state in which CampusRN launches a state edition site. CampusRN will award a $1000 scholarship to a needy and deserving nursing student in each state on the anniversary of the launch of that state's customized site.

CHANCES – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Nursing Commitment to Employment and Study Program

The Children's CHANCES scholarship provides tuition equivalent assistance for selected candidates interested in pursuing a career in pediatric nursing. Applicant must be accepted into a nursing program. Selected applicants will receive tuition equivalent assistance up to $16,000 per academic year, for up to two years. Upon graduation from nursing school, recipient will be committed to work as a Registered Nurse for Children's for 18 months for each academic year of support received.

Charles Kunz Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship (ENA)

Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and research opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency health services available to the public through education and research. This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN, LPN or LVN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. This scholarship is named in memory of Charles Kunz, father of 2005 ENA President, Patricia Kunz Howard.

Christiana Care Health Systems Scholarship

Christiana Care offers scholarships to qualified students through a competitive selection process. The Ruth Shaw Junior Board Scholarship program helps nursing and allied health students prepare for a challenging career and ensures employment after graduation. The program offers financial assistance to students currently enrolled in nursing and selected allied health programs. Scholarships cover tuition and textbook costs and are offered in return for a commitment to work for Christiana Care after graduation. This scholarship does not cover Masters degree programs or RN to BSN programs. Applicants are selected based on academic achievement and a proven commitment to quality patient care. Current employees of Christiana Care may apply as well as all others who qualify.

Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing offers a number of full and partial internal scholarships. Full-time enrollment (12 hours per semester) is required to be considered for a scholarship award. Consideration for full scholarships and the amount of partial scholarship awards are based upon an individual's GPA and GRE, GMAT or other standardized test score. All awards are made through the School of Nursing Scholarship Committee according to the requirements of the funding source. Five of these scholarships will be awarded to Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurses. To qualify for this scholarship, a student must be a BSN-prepared RN who is a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University and/or a Rutherford County Tennessee resident. After graduation the student must complete a two (2) year payback service at Vanderbilt’s Children’s Hospital.
