Angela C.

Titusville, NJ
RN, Pharmaceutical Industry

I have always been interested in Psychiatric Nursing. I was the proud recipient of the Psychiatric Nursing Award in my graduating class of 1987. This field has allowed me the opportunity to grow in ways that I never thought possible. I grew not only in my professional life but also in my personal life. The ability to develop trusting relationships with my colleagues and patients alike was a key factor in my growth as a nurse and a person. My experience as a Psychiatric Nurse was very positive. I have held multiple positions in the managed behavioral healthcare arena, the last being Staff Development Coordinator, a very exciting position that allowed me utilize my nursing skills as educator, counselor, consultant, and coordinator. My RN diploma and work experience have enabled me to progress and succeed in yet another facet of the healthcare industry. My newest position is Medical Services Analyst, in the Medical Affairs division of a pharmaceutical company. I supply information to patients and health care providers about our products. I am also responsible for collecting adverse events and product quality defects in adherence with regulatory guidelines. My career in nursing has been one of the most positive, challenging adventures in my life. I am very proud to be a nurse, and I look forward to my continued growth as a nurse in the pharmaceutical industry.
