Illinois AMVETS Sad Sacks Nursing Scholarship

 

Sponsor: AMVETS Department of Illinois

The Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation has been awarding scholarships to Illinois high school seniors for approximately 40 years. Applicants for this award must be Illinois high school seniors who have been accepted in a pre-approved nursing program or current students in an approved school of nursing in the state of Illinois. Applicants must prove satisfactory academic record, character, interest and activity record, and financial need. Priority will be given to the dependant of a deceased or disabled Veteran. The Scholarship will be given to a student nurse-in-training in the following order: third-year student, second-year student and first-year student.
