NAON Novice Orthopaedic Nurse Congress Scholarships

 

Sponsor: National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON) Foundation

The National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses Foundation supports the goals and mission of NAON by providing grants, scholarships, and awards to nurses pursuing careers in orthopaedic research. The purpose of this award is to advance orthopaedic nursing practice, education, research and leadership by supporting the education of a NAON member with only a few years of experience in orthopaedic nursing. Applicants to this scholarship must be a current NAON member with a current nursing license. They must be an experienced orthopaedic nurse with less than five (5) years of orthopaedic experience and currently spend at least 50% of his/her time devoted to the specialty. Winners will receive reimbursement toward expenses incurred in attending the NAON annual congress in St. Louis. As a condition to receiving the award, the recipient agrees to contribute back to the NAON in one of several ways specified by the Foundation.
