James S. Garrison, MD Scholarship

Sponsor: Conway Regional Health System Foundation

Each spring, the Conway Regional Health System Foundation awards scholarships to area students who are currently enrolled, or beginning their education, in a health related career field. Awards may be used for tuition, books, and room and board expenses. These two (2) scholarships were established to pay tribute to Dr. James S. Garrison and his 24 years of service and dedication to health care in the central Arkansas area. Garrison scholarships are considered loans because recipients are required to fulfill one year of service to Conway Regional upon graduation. If a recipient is unable to fulfill the required one-year of service, the loan will be repaid at the time of departure. The amount will be prorated according to time of service.
