SIH Scholarship Program for Healthcare Careers

Sponsor: Southern Illinois Healthcare

The SIH Scholarship program is a multi-phase program that marries college scholarship money with work opportunities for students majoring in certain healthcare disciplines. You can receive money for such items as tuition, lab fees, books, educational supplies, and additional money may be available upon request based on individual need. For each academic year you accept the money under the SIH program, you will be obligated to sign a contractual agreement stating you will work for SIH, after graduating, for each year you accept the scholarship. Students who leave school or choose to work elsewhere, will simply repay the scholarship as a loan. SIH Scholarship Program designated healthcare careers are: Registered Health Information Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Lab Technician, Radiologic Technologist, Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, and Surgical Technologist.
