Army ROTC Nurse Officer Program

Sponsor: US Army

The majority of ROTC Nurse Program scholarships are awarded specifically to students attending one of the schools identified as a Partnership in Nursing Education (PNE) school. Nursing is an extremely competitive degree program, particularly beginning with the junior year of college. Fewer than 50 percent of the sophomore nursing students nationwide are accepted into the upper level division of nursing. Because of this, the Army established the PNE program with a number of universities to assure upper level entry for students who maintain an established grade point average.
