AAIA - Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indian Scholarships
The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) offers Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indians Scholarships in amounts between $500-$800. Applicants must be full time students and determination is based on merit and need. Disbursement is made during the first semester. Scholarships are renewable up to four years towards any single degree. Each year $100 is added to the scholarship amount to a maximum of $800. These scholarships are open to all American Indian and Alaskan Native (at least 1/4) graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a Major in Public Health. AAOHN Professional Development Scholarships
The AAOHN Professional Scholarships support occupational and
environmental health professionals in attending and successfully
completing continuing education activities that will further their
professional development and continued competence. These grants are
not intended to supplement tuition in an academic program. Fifteen
Scholarships Offered: Five $1,500 scholarship is funded by the
ALCOA Foundation; Three $1,000 scholarships are funded by Bristol
Myers Squibb for pre- and post-AOHC CE offerings; Two $1,500

ACNP / AJNP Nurse Practitioner Student Scholarship Award
The American Journal for Nurse Practitioners (AJNP) sponsors an annual student scholarship grant in collaboration with ACNP. This award has been developed to promote the education of nurse practitioners and to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of student nurse practitioners and the contributions they will make as future leaders of the profession. Scholarship Details: The recipient will receive a one-year's membership in ACNP and $1000 scholarship. The Award will be presented at the ACNP Annual National Clinical Symposium.
