I worked in almost every area of nursing, in the hospital and out, before finding my niche in the school system. I now work with severe and profoundly handicapped individuals. I have older and younger sisters who are disabled. Having been on the other side of the call light myself, I decided to help people during one of the most stressful times of their lives. I believe you cannot know what someone feels unless you have walked in their shoes. Due to my perspective as a sibling, a patient, a nurse, and because of my desire to help people, I continued in my education and received my Masters in Medical Ethics. Now I help families find their way through the medical system.
