Nurses' Health Study Seeks Participants

January 2012

Calling all female nurses – now is your chance to contribute to the future of women's health! The world-famous Nurses' Health Study (NHS) is seeking 100,000 female nurses, living in the U.S. or Canada, between the ages of 22 and 45 years old, to participate in the online Nurses' Health Study 3. This study will focus on important topics related to women's health, including lifestyle, environment and nurses' work lives.

Started in 1976, the Nurses' Health Study is the largest and longest-running set of research on women's health. The information provided by the more than 230,000 dedicated nurse participants throughout the years has contributed to new insights on health and disease, contributing to key advances in hundreds of important health topics. The study is conducted by researchers at Harvard School of Public Health and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass.

Help spread the word by telling your colleagues about Nurses' Health Study 3! Enrollment will continue until NHS reaches its goal of 100,000 women.
