National Gerontological Nursing Association’s 2012 Annual Convention

The National Gerontological Nursing Association (NGNA) will host its 2012 Annual Convention October 4-6 in Baltimore. The convention will feature top-level speakers, collaborative discussions on the future of gerontological nursing and networking opportunities with more than 250 passionate professionals!

This year’s convention will focus on the achievements of NGNA and provide new knowledge and skills to gerontological nurses, while imploring its attendees to practice NGNA’s values of inclusiveness, respect, innovation and responsiveness. Nurses at the meeting will also get the opportunity to hear from an impressive lineup of speakers, including Robin Remsburg, PhD, APRN, FNGNA, FGSA, FAAN, Associate Dean of the College of Health and Human Services and Director of the School of Nursing at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., who will discuss the unique challenges facing the next generation of gerontological nurses.
