March of Dimes 2014 Graduate Nursing Scholarships

Each year, as part of its Graduate Nursing Scholarship program, the March of Dimes offers several nursing scholarships to registered nurses enrolled in graduate programs of maternal-child nursing. The scholarship seeks to recognize and promote excellence in the nursing care of mothers and babies.

The recipients of the 2014 March of Dimes Graduate Nursing Scholarship are:

  • Diana R. Jolles, MSN, Ph.D., CNM, a certified nurse-midwife who is pursuing a Ph.D. in nursing research at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas
  • Mary L. Puchalski, MS, APN, CNS, NNP-BC, a neonatal nurse practitioner who is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
  • Wendy A. Shultis, Ph.D., RN, a registered nurse who is pursuing a master’s degree in nurse midwifery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Ore.
  • Hien K. Tran, RN, BSN, SNM, a registered nurse who is pursuing a master’s degree in nursing at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M.
