Elaine Gelman Scholarship
This award is named after Elaine Gelman, CPNP, who worked for many years to advance the nurse practitioner (NP) profession. She was instrumental in obtaining statutory authority for NPs in New York in 1988. Applicants must be full- or part-time NP students enrolled in an accredited NP program with an expected graduation date of two years or less. Preference will be given to applicants in a pediatric nurse practitioner program or those with interest or experience in health policy or advocacy.
