The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Parent Scholarship is for parents of current high school or college students to help them pay for their children’s higher education. Applicants must be the parent of a current high school student or college student and be a legal resident of the United States. The student may choose or have chosen any major and attend or plan to attend any college in the U.S. Winners are chosen by a committee that bases its decision primarily on a submitted essay.
