The Hawaii Community Foundation is a public, statewide, charitable services and grantmaking organization by donor contributions for the benefit of Hawaii's people. The Foundation has distributed scholarships to more than 2,300 students totaling more than $4.7 million. Applicant for this scholarship award must be a graduate of a Hawaii Island High School and accepted as an upper classman into one of the following college programs: a school of engineering, a teacher education program, a nursing program.
