Nurse Support Program II – Graduate Nursing Faculty Scholarship and Living Expenses Grant –
The Nurse Support Program II – Graduate Nursing Faculty Scholarship (GNFS) and Living Expenses Grant was established by the Maryland Higher Education Commission; it is open to eligible students who are sponsored by a Maryland higher education institution. They must complete the graduate program necessary to become a qualified nursing faculty member at a Maryland higher education institution. To be considered for the Living Expenses Grant, an applicant must also complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. To be eligible for the GNFS , an individual must be a Maryland resident enrolled at a Maryland college or university in a master’s of science in nursing program or another graduate-level nursing program required to prepare individuals to become nursing faculty.
