Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania’s VFW Jack E. Barger, Sr. Scholarship

Established by the Department of Pennsylvania Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), this scholarship is awarded in memory of the late Jack E. Barger, Sr., a department commander who died while in office. This award is open to Pennsylvania residents who are veterans, active duty military personnel, or the sons, daughters, or spouses of veteran/active duty military personnel. Award recipients must attend the VFW conference to accept the scholarship award.
