This program is designed to recruit RNs to the designated critical nursing shortage areas and specialties throughout Oregon. Participants receive annual payments toward the debt incurred during their professional nursing program in exchange for qualifying service. Maximum participation will not exceed four years of qualifying employment in order to receive 100 percent repayment of the total principle qualifying as loan debt. This award is open to students enrolled in the last year of an RN program, recent RN graduates, and RNs currently practicing. Oregon residency in not required when applying.
