Virginia’s Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife Scholarship Program
This scholarship is open to Virginia state residents of at least one year who have been accepted as or are enrolled as full-time students in a nurse practitioner/nurse midwifery program in Virginia, or a nurse midwifery program in a nearby state. Recipients must agree to engage in full-time practice in a designated medically underserved area for a period of years equal to the number of annual scholarships received. Full-time employment must begin within two years of the recipient’s graduation date from the program.
