Wisconsin League for Nursing / Blue Cross Blue Shield Nursing Scholarships
The Wisconsin League for Nursing (WLN) and Blue Cross Blue Shield Wisconsin offer this scholarship program to help address the critical nursing shortage and provide financial assistance to aspiring nurses throughout the state. The scholarships are for Wisconsin students who have completed at least one-half of the credits necessary for graduation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission accredited BSN, ADN, or LPN programs in Wisconsin. To apply for the scholarship, students must contact their dean for an application and write a one-page letter to assist the WLN Scholarship Committee in making their selection. The student should address the following areas: scholastic ability, professional activities and/or community service, understanding of the nursing profession, career goals, and financial need.
