The Modern Nurse
-44849 seconds ago

In many regions of the world with limited access to healthcare providers, nurses play an essential role in reducing the burden of pediatric disease. We recently spoke with Michele Morin, RN, MSN, about her experiences traveling to Rwanda, Haiti and Laos to assist and train local healthcare providers, and the differences between pediatric nursing domestically and abroad.

We spoke with Samantha, a recent graduate of the Nurse-Midwifery/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NM/WHNP) program at the Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies in Washington, D.C., about the unique aspects of her specialty and why she loves being a CNM.
