Young Women's Alliance Higher Empowerment Education Scholarship

Young Women's Alliance Foundation    |    Texas

The Young Women’s Alliance Foundation was created by the Young Women’s Alliance in 1997. The Foundation empowers tomorrow’s female leaders by awarding educational scholarships for girls and women and providing grants to the organizations that serve them, ultimately inspiring all women to give back to their community.

Each year, the Young Women's Alliance Foundation awards scholarships to women enrolled in graduate school or their junior or senior year of college. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstrated financial need, commitment to community service, academic achievement and leadership potential.

Recipients will be chosen in the spring and funds will be dispersed for use during either the fall or spring semester of the upcoming school year, to be selected by the recipient. Recipients must participate in a “Community Impact Project” during the semester they receive the scholarship money. More information about qualifications and selection procedures can be found in the application.
